Create a feel-good festive home

Choose a bold natural tree

Choose a big and bold natural tree and cover it with gorgeous fabric doves, hearts and stars finished with pretty blanket stitch. Make friends and family comfortable by dressing sofas and armchairs with nordic-style felt cushions in cheery Christmas colours.

Use wallpaper in an alcove

Use wallpaper to turn a corner or alcove into a Christmas feature. We've used a hand screen-printed design with circular motifs. Don't limit wreaths to the outside of the house - they can look pretty on internal doors, too.

Use laser-cut paper designs

Christmas cards with delicate laser-cut paper designs are everywhere this year. Lovely to give and receive, they also make a great display - just peg on to a heart garland along shelves.

Make paper bird decorations

Paper bird decorations are quick and fun to make. Tailor the colours and patterns to match your scheme.

Hang a natural garland

Hang a natural garland trimmed with mini stockings above a guest bed and top with a fun wood-cut reindeer. Layer the bed with cheery red woolens and bedlinen.

Make felt curtains

Make berry-red felt curtains with folk art white felt hearts, hand cut using a homemade stencil.

Cover lampshades in silk

Lampshades covered in a hand silk screened wallpaper make a stunning focal point above a table. Dress with embroided linens and pile with winter treats.

Choose stockings

Choose stockings for all the family. We love this one with its contemporary folk feel.
